PTV Sports is a state-run sports channel which is a part of state owned broadcaster Pakistan Television Corporation. It was launched on 14th January 2012. PTV Sports is a first 24-hours sports channel aimed to provide all types of sports, sports news, and sports discussion programs to its viewers in Pakistan and sub-continent. PTV Sports live broadcasts cricket, football, tennis, hockey, snooker, wrestling, motto sports, and many others sports. PTV Sports begins its HD broadcast on 26th January 2022.
PTV Sports is a part of state-owned Pakistan Television corporation family which is consisting of nine channels including PTV Home, PTV News, PTV World, PTV Sports, PTV National, PTV Global, PTV Parliament, PTV Bolan, and AJK TV.

ICC Events
Since its launch in 2012, PTV Sports has covered all the major cricketing events under International Cricket Council (ICC) including ICC Men’s/Women’s ODI World Cup, ICC T20 World Cup, and ICC Champion Trophy.
ICC Men’s ODI World Cup: PTV Sports live has broadcasted ICC Men’s ODI World Cup played in 2015 and 2019. Australia and New Zealand were the co-host of the ICC World Cup in 2015 whereas England and Wales jointly hosted 2019 edition of the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup. PTV Sports also has the rights to broadcast upcoming edition of the ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 which will be played in India.
ICC Men’s T20 World Cup: After the Men’s ODI World Cup, ICC Men’s T20 World Cup is the 2nd major tournament which is played under the platform of ICC. 2012 ICC T20 World Cup: It was played in Sri Lanka. West Indies was the winner of that edition. PTV Sports live broadcasted all the matches of ICC T20 World Cup 2012
2014 ICC T20 World Cup: It was played in Bangladesh. Sri Lanka came out as a winner of ICC T20 World Cup 2014. PTV Sports provided the live coverage of the entire tournament to his viewers.
2016 ICC T20 World Cup:The sixth edition of ICC T20 World Cup was played in India in 2016. West Indies stood out as a champion of ICC T20 World Cup 2016. With this victory, West Indies became the first team who won T20 World Cup twice. PTV Sports covered the whole events live from day one.
2021 ICC T20 World Cup: After the gap of 5 years ICC announced the 7th edition of T20 World Cup to be played in UAE in 2021. In this ICC tournament, Pakistan defeated India first time in history of ICC events. PTV Sports live streaming brought each and everything of it for its viewers back in Pakistan and sub-continent. Australia was the winner of this edition.
ICC Champion Trophy
Champion Trophy is a 50 overs one-day international tournament played under the platform of ICC. It is played after every 4 years but from last 5 years ICC did not announce the schedule of 5th edition of the Champion Trophy. Last time it was played in 2017 in England. Pakistan is the current champion of ICC Champion Trophy. PTV Sports live official has covered two editions of it from 2013.
ICC Champion Trophy 2013: England was the host of the 3rd edition of ICC Champion Trophy. India became champion after beating England in the final.
ICC Champion Trophy 2017: It was also hosted by England. Pakistan came out as the winner after beating India in the final. PTV Sports was the official broadcaster of this tournament in Pakistan.

FIFA World Cup
FIFA is a supreme body of all football playing nations. It governs and controls all the affairs related to international football. FIFA World Cup is the major tournament organized by FIFA. After its launch in 2012, PTV Sports has live broadcasted two editions of the FIFA World Cup.
FIFA World Cup 2014: It was the 20th edition of the FIFA World Cup played in Brazil. Germany and Argentina were the two finalist nations. Germany became champion by beating Argentina in the final.
FIFA World Cup 2018: The 21st edition of the FIFA World Cup was played in Russia. France and Croatia reached in the final by beating their opponents. France became the champion.
IHF Tournaments
International hockey federation is a governing body of all hockey playing nations. It organizes all the major tournaments of field hockey. National T20 Cup

Quaid-e-Azam Trophy
It is Pakistan’s first domestic first-class cricket tournament which was first played back in 1954. It is a test match style cricket competition in which six regional teams contest to each other every year.
